This file requires VBRUN300.DLL (Visual Basic Runtime), which is included. This program will NOT work with VBRUN100.DLL, VBRUN200.DLL, VB40016.DLL or VB40032.DLL.
Uploaded by the author, Cool Alarm Clock can also be used to set the system time from within Windows (instead of at a DOS prompt). Easy interface to use -- just slide the scroll bars to indicate the current time or the alarm time.
The alarm time is read from and written to an ini file so that you don't have to reset it each time you close and open the program (i.e. each time you shut down or restart your computer).
The clock can be minimized so that it's not in your way (like the Always-On-Top Windows Clock), and it will pop up to interrupt you when the time comes. The alarm sound itself is a simple beep available on any PC. Though, if you have a sound card and you choose a cool .wav file as your system's default beep, you may get an interesting sort of stuttering effect out of the alarm -- this will definitely snap you out of whatever you're doing.
Notes: To install, decompress archive into an empty directory and run the included SETUP.EXE.
